Sorry folks. I’ve been pretty busy lately with the whole album and all. I tend to forget about the blog portion of my site (main site is rarely updated and Twitter/MySpace get updated on the go). Anyway, my first album, Unspoken, is finally out. The official release date was March 11, 2010. I’ve been handing out copies locally since and I’ve sent a good bit to those who’ve asked. Speaking of, if you would like a copy, leave me your address somewhere (email it to me or use the contact form on bleckshire.com). It’s free by the way. Other option is to wait for the online release, which should be within the next week or so. I’d honestly suggest to go with the physical copy, I mean, it’s a free CD. No shipping or anything, why wouldn’t you take it? Feedback and reviews so far have been pretty good. All of which I will post once I gather em all up. Here’s the tracklist:

Album drop is still on track. Been kinda busy with that “IRL” stuff but I always find time for my music. Shit’s going very well so here’s a little progress update: All of the tracks are finished and recorded with the exception of three hooks and two collabs. Once all of those are done, just gotta mix and master em up. The cover design is just about finished as well. Just needs a few tweaks here and there. I’m anticipating a release in mid-February or early March. In related news, my boy D. Man’s mixtape (engineered by me) is almost completed and will be dropping soon as well. Already.
I finished getting the results up for the 2009 SVP Awards. Shit went pretty well even with how rushed it was. I know next year will be a whole lot better. Anyway, had a bunch of close calls and some category dominations. I didn’t get Best Graphic Artist but my boy King Cobra did (and it was well deserved). Long night, but the rest of bleckshire.com is done and launched. I actually wanted the launch to be synonymous with the album drop but I rethought and figured I’d go ahead and get the shit up with some placeholders for all the album shit. Now, go tell ya momma’s about that shit.

Alright so, I’ve decided on the title for the upcoming album: Unspoken. Going along the lines of my general demeanor, a lot of shit bothers me and I have issues with many things but I typically don’t say shit for the simple fact that no one gives a fuck about anything that doesn’t affect them directly or everyone has a problem with what I have to say (too eccentric, too much profanity, etc.). So, why waste my breath? I just don’t say shit. Since I can’t express myself to everyone else, the album is going to be my sort of outlet. Many of the tracks will be me expressing myself on a lot of shit I’d normally keep to myself. I ain’t no “club track” nigga (granted, I sometimes hop on features of other artist’s club tracks) so this shit won’t get you up outta your seat and dancing. I’m gonna make an assumption and say, if you like Gucci, Soulja Boy, or any similar “rappers,” you probably won’t be feeling this album.
Nonetheless, the shit’s dropping sometime early 2010. I’m just about done designing the covers, I got a few more tracks that need to be finished up then I’mma master everything and get the shit released. The tracklist is already done but it’s not finalized (some of the tracks that have to be finished have features that I’m not sure will drop yet) so I’m not releasing it yet. I’ll definitely keep ya posted though. Already.
